More than five years ago, Jamones Pastor began its journey in European lands, France, Germany, Belgium, Holland and Montenegro among others, but today we will emphasize our Italian friends with whom we have been working for years and know how to recognize the benefits and pleasures of a natural ham like ours.
During the 16th and 17th of October it was our second participation in the Sapori over the years. The biannual event that takes place in the Castello de San Salvatore (Treviso), a jewel of the 14th century surrounded by vineyards that make it a unique place. There is where the Valsana team presents to the whole gastronomic society of northern Italy really special products like our Teruel Ham.

We had several surprises in the form of Teruel ham, and they were not other than our great reserve hams cured over 32 months with which all present were pledged to prove their taste and smoothness, with nuances and a perfect balance due to his long stay in stone cellar.
For us it is always a pleasure that all kinds of palates enjoy our Teruel ham, however it was a surprise when Chef Massimilano Alajmo, who has three Michelin stars, tasted our natural ham and said in front of the audience “It is the only ham that really tastes like ham “, however only good palates know how to distinguish between an elaborated ham free of additives, preservatives, preservatives, nitrifiers and sugars.
